Corrections & Retractions

Life Sciences, Technology and Sustainability Education recognizes that maintaining the integrity of published research requires mechanisms for correcting errors and addressing unreliable findings.

The journal provides procedures for:

  • Corrections
  • Expressions of concern
  • Retractions
  • Editorial notices

Corrections are issued when published articles contain errors that affect accuracy but do not invalidate the overall research findings. Corrections are linked permanently to the original article to maintain transparency.

Retractions are considered when substantial problems exist, including:

  • Fabricated data
  • Falsified results
  • Serious ethical violations
  • Duplicate publication
  • Major methodological problems affecting validity

Retraction decisions follow careful investigation and are conducted according to recognized publication ethics principles.
